Heliski destinations tend to be far from home and hard to get to. Unless you are fortunate enough to be able to go away for at least 9 days, it can be hard to get enough turns to justify the trip.
However, depending on where you live, there are places where it is feasible to heliski for just a few days or even a long weekend. Just don't expect to be able to book them last-minute. As a result, it's important to consider what happens if the weather doesn't play ball.
