The Lowdown

Only One Group per Helicopter

Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing offers an exclusive heli-skiing experience at a non-exclusive price. Having only one group of 10 skiers per helicopter is an exceptional service that practically eliminates waiting time between runs and that no other heli-ski operation in Canada offers at a comparable price. In fact, the Canadian standard is to have three or four groups of 11 sharing the use of one helicopter. There is no comparison.

Exceptional Wilderness Lodge

Tyax Lodge is a classic log lodge in a genuine wilderness environment but unlike most other wilderness heli-ski lodges getting here is a relatively quick and pleasant experience – a mere 30 minute helicopter flight from Whistler / Pemberton or an hour from Vancouver takes you direct to your doorstep. But if you are a fan of long bus rides there are plenty of other options to choose from.
