One helicopter per group (or two helicopters for two groups)
For total freedom to ski the lines of your choice at the speed of your choice, there is no substitute for having a dedicated helicopter with a generous flying time allowance.
Two guides per group
Safety in backcountry skiing is paramount and having a lead guide and a tail guide is one of the best ways of mitigating risk and also gives you the ability to ski far from other groups.
Options in every direction
Being in a remote lodge in the middle of a mountain range is great when the weather cooperates but it can be frustrating when the storms close in. Eagle’s Nest Lodge is close to Anchorage (12 minutes by helicopter or 50 minutes by road) and surrounded by different mountain ranges so that as soon as a weather window opens up in one place, your crew can be heading towards it.
Single occupancy rooms for all
The value of a good night’s sleep is hard to underestimate when you are fulfilling bucket list dreams so the guarantee of privacy and a quiet night is essential to ensuring you have fresh legs to start each day.
