glacier in ~Antarctica reflected in water
Antarctica

Sail past sheer-sided walls of ice and giant icebergs in unimaginable shades of blue whilst the thunderous cracks of calving glaciers break the silence. This is an adventure that is as much about the awesome environment as it is about the skiing. Almost 98% of the Antarctic continent is covered by ice – an area twice the size of Australia. This is one of the world’s last true wilderness areas and offers an unparalleled opportunity for modern-day exploration. During the expedition you will journey deep into a pristine landscape while enjoying the convenience, safety and comfort of a modern expedition yacht.

Hundreds of unnamed peaks stretch seemingly forever towards the South Pole, waiting patiently for their first human contact – a chance to put your name on the map. Clean, clear, nutrient-rich waters support a phenomenal variety of sea life, birds and marine mammals. Seals, sea lions, penguins and whales abound as do clouds of birds including albatrosses, petrels, skuas, gulls and terns.

This amazing adventure is suitable for both skiers and non-skiers, with daily shore landings, lectures and zodiac excursions which cover the history, biology, geology and politics of the planet’s southernmost continent.

We have a range of different vessels available (ranging from 65 to 200 feet) which can be chartered either on a private or shared basis.
