Chile

Whilst most northern hemisphere skiers are packing the skis in the shed and heading to the beach the real diehards are packing their skis in a bag and heading for the mighty the Chilean Andes.

Famous for exceptionally dry snow, plenty of sunshine and awe-inspiring terrain Chile has some of the best heli-skiing in the southern hemisphere.

Within a short distance of Santiago the mighty Andes rise to heights of over 6,000 metres above sea level and boast some of the most incredible terrain and snow conditions in South America.
